How do I record a capture?
Simply press and hold the large button on the main screen. Speak naturally, and release when you're done. Your voice will be transcribed automatically.
Does Capsule work offline?
Yes! Capsule is designed to work offline. Your captures are stored locally and will sync to the cloud when you have an internet connection.
How does AI categorization work?
Capsule uses AI to analyze your transcription and automatically categorize it into one of five life lenses: Self, Home, Work, Health, or Future. You can always edit the category if needed.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your captures are encrypted and stored securely. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete a capture?
Tap on any capture in the Dashboard to open it, then tap the delete button. Deleted captures are removed from your device and the cloud.
Why does Capsule need microphone access?
Capsule uses your microphone to record voice memos and transcribe them to text. Without microphone access, the app cannot record your voice.
Your Privacy Rights
Under CCPA (California) and GDPR (EU) regulations, you have the right to access, export, and delete your personal data. We take your privacy seriously.
